Interlude End

"Krishna left the forest and meadows of Vrndavana for the city of Dvaraka, where he was united in wedlock to eight queens. The gopis now roamed in silence. Accustomed to the emotion of stolen love, when they were alone they would sometimes say the words "you thief" over and over, but without getting any response. Life went on as though Krishna had never been with them. Separation, emptiness, absence: this was the new emotion, and the only one."

Haha, kinda like us! You know how when you read a book you always have advice for the characters? What would you tell the Gopis to do now? Detach? Resent? Report Krishna to the local priest? Food for thought I spose. Wonder how it all works out, hehe.

The gopis should get jobs in IT

Forget Krishna He's just not that into to you ladies.

I think this is the Deist philosophy of something. God set the world ticking then left.

Kundaline awakening and then...no finesse with the ending that is for sure. Amatueurs!

The best lovers never let the other down. Everyone knows that.

The gopis start a blog to moan about Krishna abandoning them :)

Good mother birds kick their babies out of the nest to fly on their own.

well, nice writing in the Calasso book..it's been out for a while..but definitely a GUY'S point of view....ah ,you wish Calasso! I think the gopis should have a talk with Kali..I mean, Shiva is nice but kind of "inert" without Her! lol! why not just turn to each other, Gopis? the thing is: all that Gopi energy does have to revolve around a center point...maybe the Gopis should explore Sri Chakra puja! and stop moaning after the blue-skinned captain of the football team. It's kind of cultural thing, guys...know any Indian men?

Confusion of metaphors here. Krishna was not Gopi's Mother. He was their LOVER. Big difference in the relationship.
